Anthony Dowell

Sir Anthony Dowell used to be a ballet dancer, as well as the artistic director of the Royal Ballet. He was born in London, England in 1943. He is recognized as one of the great “danseurs nobles” of the 20th century.

He started his ballet training when he was only 5 years old. During his career, he created many memorable roles, and even did some costume design.
